Happy Holidays from Wizard Academy

Thursday 1st, December 2011

Was it a good year? Did you sell your business? Did you start a new one?

Here at Wizard Academy we had a good year. Actually a VERY good year.

The tower opened.
Need I say more?

Here’s the thing… We had a lot of help.

A few years ago Monica Ballard visited our Journey of the WiseMen and said, “I can do this better!”

And she did.

Have you met Monica? I bet you have. Monica not only volunteered her time to write, produce and direct the Journey of the WiseMen but once a month Monica comes out to give the tower tour during First Friday at Wizard Academy.

Thank you Monica!

Which brings up another group of people. Our First Friday presenters.

I started First Friday as a way to slowly draw new students into Wizard Academy. A first dip of the toe into untested waters. The idea was to find Acad Grads local to Austin to present but the demand to speak at First Friday has been so great that Acad Grads like Cedric Yau have travel in from New York to give the free one hour presentation.

They’re not doing it for money or fame, just to help Wizard Academy grow.

Thank you First Friday Presenters!

Wizard Academy is being built upon the ideas and work of its students. If you want to see a change at Wizard Academy then it’s your job as a Acad Grad to make it better.

Twenty twelve is going to be a good year at Wizard Academy.

Be sure to check out all the upcoming events we have posted. If you don’t see one you want let me know.

I hope you come back to visit real soon.
