Corrine Taylor – Secretary/Treasurer
I can’t believe that anyone might be remotely interested in clicking on a link to find information about me!
I’m the dreaded ISTJ on campus, and my comfort zone is behind the scene making certain that our Academy Students and Faculty are taken care of. The work is really done by Sean Taylor, Becke Frank, Kristin Mitchell, Roger Zavala and Jordan Von Blohn. Their hard work and dedication make the Academy run seamlessly and makes me look good.
I’ve been involved with the Academy from the beginning, as I have worked with Roy and Pennie for nearly 13 years. I guess it was in 1999 that conversations began, and an idea started evolving into reality. Many years and classes later Wizard Academy has matured, however I believe that we are still in the infancy stage and our best years are yet to come.
For the success to continue, we need to attract new students while keeping our stalwart graduates involved. To do so we will post new classes… many will meet with success and others will die on the vine. We never know the interest level until we launch. For Wizard Academy to succeed, Roy needs to become less of the focal point. He says this many times, I hope everyone is listening.
The campus is nearing completion, and for those of you who remember the old office in Buda, we certainly have come a long way from that small porch on the old gym.
I’m continually amazed and humbled by the community of students attracted to Wizard Academy. The intelligence, comradery and generosity of the group is second to none.
BTW: If you have a few minutes, send something to post on the Beagle Bugle. Perhaps a story about your visit to campus or maybe about the early years and how things have changed for the better.
Hope to see you back again real soon.
Many Blessings to You and Yours,
Corrine
